From 10 – 12 September 2010 the 11th edition of the three-day art festival De Wereld van Witte de With (The World of Witte de With) will be organised again in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The festival is showcasing European as well as Rotterdam based visual artists. The 11th edition of the Festival is inspired by the work of city activist and publicist Jane Jacobs, the festival envisions the perfect city – a finished city – by taking art into the streets of Rotterdam and by doing this the festival turns the street into a public laboratory for art.
The Festival De Wereld van Witte de With is organized in collaboration with all major art centres in Rotterdam and takes place in Witte de With Straat and the Museum Park in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
